Mac vs PC….
so most of you or at least some of you know i have a mac book pro 17 inch blah blah blah…moving on.
now also some of you know i have had several problems with it..yes PROBLEMS well let me tell you some inforation about apple and their products.
They KICK ASS i mean that statement with all my heart.
1st sign if problems might be corrupt data so the send me a free retail copy of leopard thats osx 10.5 newest upgrade – keep in mind im still under factory warranty not upgraded apple care.
2nd sign of problems so we determined its the logic board they replace it in matter of days. no questions asked.
3rd sign if problems working on Rube goldburg project for school and my mac says “Disc error” cant save file. now i restart and was able to save but having problems with saving there after. simple fix its a hdd replacement.
the rep paused and said ill be back not only did the mac specialist come back in a quick manner he said since i have been having so many problems im going to replace the whole unit. WHOLE UNIT shocked i have never seen this level of customer support the commented
” i would rather send you out of here with a new machine then come back in with a broken one”
still beside myself he then told me that its the newest model not the first model of intel processor. all the new features Led lit screen new touch pad etc…
he gave me everthing inside the box. EVERYTHING i even told him i had those items. ( im sure this is how word of mouth gets a company a good rap)
and my inital warranty started over Sat April 26 08
WOW. my recommends get a mac. have never had a great experience with any company. EVER..
And now PC
i have had non stop problems with my dell computer for almost 3 years
i have replaced everything on this machine every part and case more than 6 times and counting. thats not six parts no thats every part about six or more times.
last time i call to get my hdd replaced seems the have a problem with shipping bad hdds i get the run around blah blah blah
then it gets to where i am talking to the CEO ( i found his contact info im sure he wasnt happy to hear from me) i wasnt rude despite what some of you think and he hung up on me.
i recived and email from the Global contact center and the Floor manager for Complaints said she looked up my ticket info and said i called in i was having blue screen of death due to 3rd party parts..ha ha ha i have never stuck anything in my computer that wasnt covered under my warranty
makes me soooooooooo. mad i register a complaint to the BBB
and the very next day i get an email and a call from the same lady
asking me what can dell do to make my situation better. i call her back
i just want my computer to work under my warranty
i have yet to get ahold of her
so in closing i say regardless of when people say what machine is better
it will always be MAC due to their customer service . and their wonderful products. Nuff said.
